Sales Terms and Conditions.

1. General.
1.1. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone.
1.2. Prices and payments are in GBP. Please be aware that your bank may charge you a currency conversion fee.
1.3. Warranty period is two years. This excludes misuse, wear and tear and is valid for the original purchaser only.
1.4. Sage Sound will take no responsibility for damage to other equipment, including but not limited to blown drivers.
1.5. If any court or competent authority finds any provision of these terms and conditions (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these terms and conditions will not be affected.
2. Shipping.
Unless otherwise stated:
2.1. Your order will be dispatched within 5 business days (mon-fri excluding UK bank holidays) after your order has been placed.
2.2. Shipping prices to your location can be seen at the address input stage of checkout or on the FAQ page. Please contact us if you country is not listed, we will calculate the price and add the option to the website.
2.3. Your order will be sent by courier, with tracking and insurance for loss/damage whilst in transit.
2.4. Following dispatch, you can use the following guide for delivery time estimates:
• UK is usually next day.
• EU is usually 2-3 days.
• Outside EU is usually 3-5 days.
2.5. You will receive an automated email and/or text message with the tracking information, once available. This will generally be from a third party, inline with our privacy policy. Please check your e-mail spam/junk folder if you do not receive anything.
2.6. A valid signature will be required on delivery.
2.7. In some circumstances we may need to request additional payment from you in the event the actual shipping cost far exceeds the quoted price. For example, shipping prices to Spain and Portugal are for the mainland, shipping to the islands will cost more.
2.8. Sage Sound shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
3. Ordering from outside the UK.
3.1. If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your delivery may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you.
3.2. It is accepted by you that Sage Sound has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your order.
3.3. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duty that may be paid. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer.
3.4. Shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. In respect of all goods dispatched to you to an address outside of the UK, you are deemed to be the importer of the goods and must therefore comply with all the laws and regulations of the country into which the goods are being delivered.
3.5. In the event you fail to pay any additional taxes/duties, the goods will be returned to us and you will be refunded minus any fees we have been charged for the return of the package.
4. Non-Delivery.
4.1. If your package is returned to us because you haven’t taken delivery, we will contact you to let you know.
4.2. If the product has been returned to us as a result of our error, we will re-send the product to you for no extra charge.
4.3. If the product has been returned to us because you provided an incorrect delivery address or you failed to take delivery, we will either:
(a) Redeliver the product to the correct address, subject to payment of additional delivery costs
(b) Refund the value of the product excluding delivery costs.
5. Item condition.
5.1. Unless specified otherwise, all items sold on this website are new. Please note, as a very small operation we don’t have the resources to ensure all cosmetic parts are absolutely perfect/pristine. Any damage (scratches/scuffs) will be noted at the point of sale but minor surface blemishes or similar will not.
5.2. Items sold as damaged will have noticeable cosmetic damage. If you purchase items with damage listed, you accept that you are buying items with the listed product issues and may not use any listed faults as cause for a return.
5.3. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds.
6.1. All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.
6.2. To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email about cancelling the order before the 14 day cancellation period has expired.
6.3. If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order.
6.4. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
6.5. We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
6.6. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by Sage Sound in the condition they were in when delivered to you.
6.7. If you decide to cancel the order then the goods must be returned in the original condition. You may of course test the goods but should not use them in such a way that you would not be able do to in a shop, e.g don’t fit the goods into a rack. A reasonable restocking fee will be charged for goods returned with damage.
6.8. You will not have any right to cancel an order if the supply of goods are made to the customer's specification or are personalised.
7. Items being returned from countries outside of the UK.
7.1. You will likely need to fill in a customs form. It is your responsibility that you declare the goods you are returning accurately.
7.2. You MUST declare the returning goods as 'Returning goods for refund/exchange'. If you do not declare this on your returning parcel it may be delayed in UK customs or may be returned to you.
7.3. We will not pay any customs fees on parcels which are declared incorrectly and therefore it will be returned to you without being delivered. (‘Incorrectly’ meaning a parcel which is declared as anything other than a return or where the value of the goods has been declared artificially high such as if you declare a £350 item as worth £3500 etc).
7.4. If the goods which you have sent back to us are kept in customs because you have not declared the parcel correctly, we will not have received them. Because it is your responsibility to declare the goods correctly and accurately, legally you will not have returned the goods to us/kept them in your care, and so will not be entitled to any refund.
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the law of England and Wales and all disputes arising under the Agreement (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
