MUSIC CHANNEL:

The music channel on the 5u has two stereo line inputs, and one stereo turntable phono with seperate volume controls and a left right pan control.

There is an 11 band graphic EQ, a 3 band semi-parametric (sweep) EQ along with seperate resonant high+low pass filters with bypass and slope adjust switches. The sub EQ has a tone control rather than gain which allows you to dial in the bass tone you want.

Sub Solo switch has been replaced with a Mid-Top volume control to isolate the bass more gradually.

There are two effects sends, mids and tops can be sent to these separately on the music channel.

AUX CHANNEL:

Alongside the main music inputs to the preamp are five aux inputs, these are used for microphones, effects returns and sirens. There is a global volume for these channels which can be used as a mute when you’re not playing. These channels feature two effects sends, bass + treble tone controls and left right pan control so you can have your sirens, effects and vocals flying across the room.

There is an additional stereo aux input which can be used as a ping pong delay input.

CONNECTIONS:

Main outputs to the amplifiers are on jack and XLR connectors and can be plugged into each other to play 2, 3 or 4 way.

SPDIF input and AES-3 mix output comes as standard

Sets can be recorded through the full range mix output.

Each aux channel and the music channel have insert points to properly add additonal processing such 31 band EQs, compressors and feedback suppressors, whilst not sacrificing microphone or phono quality.

All connections are balanced (where suitable).
